Companies are reducing costs and, unfortunately, head count to survive. As the need for BIM intelligence is not going away, it makes sense to utilise a more affordable, flexible, BIM talent pool.

Research with employers in the architecture, engineering and construction sectors also indicates the most fruitful direction for BIM specialists in the short term will be to offer their skills as a consultancy service, working flexibly on a part time basis.
