4: CONVICTION
Conviction is a relatively new addition to the original AIDA acronym. In marketing parlance, it was added to ensure prospects ‘buy the brand‘. When recruiting, it is a highly effective way to compel candidates to apply for the opportunity.
It is surprising how many (relevant) candidates look at a job but do not end up applying. Despite having the desire to do so, something is preventing them. Conviction is how you give candidates the confidence they need to apply.
THE GOOD DIGITAL EMPLOYER directory gives candidates additional information to help differentiate employers and the confidence to apply for jobs with them.
The GOOD DIGITAL EMPLOYER directory is part of a 3 step process designed to help candidates make the most of their careers – you can see how we promote this and download the questionnaire here.
Being listed in the directory will not only provide the conviction you want to encourage applications, it also increases attention (Step 1) as candidates can start their job searches with the Directory – only searching for roles with those companies.
