BIM TALENT SUPPLY and DEMAND
With Covid 2 and Brexit uncertainty still looming large, we don’t expect any increase in the demand for BIM specialists before Christmas.
Although government support is reducing, companies have a good idea of how healthy their workload is looking for Q4 and have streamlined the workforce to suit. Everyone is operating as lean as possible.
By January, whatever happens with Brexit, the uncertainty will be behind us. If Covid 2 has been managed well in the UK and abroad and No.10 continues to invest in recession busting projects, as more projects are released, we should see confidence slowly building. There are a lot of IFs involved and we will have a better idea by the time we publish our Q1 2021 predictions in January.
Meanwhile for the rest of this quarter, our predictions are for demand are, unsurprisingly, pessimistic.
